An 11-story The Woodlands, Texas, office building was taken down by controlled demolition on Sunday, April 9. According to a report in the Houston Chronicle.
According the article, The Timberloch Tower was built 1998 and was later purchased by Anadarko Petroleum Corp. The building sat vacant for a year after the company consolidated employees into two other buildings.
An 11-story building's parking garage by was demolished using conventional means before the controlled implosion. The blast lasted about 12 seconds.
