Texas Carpet Recycling has won the 2009 Outstanding Construction & Demolition Debris Reuse/Recycling Leadership Award from the State of Texas Alliance for Recycling.
Dee Cassell, business manager for Texas Carpet Recycling expressed appreciation for the recognition. "All of us at Texas Carpet Recycling are thrilled beyond words to receive such a great honor from STAR. We are so grateful--it's wonderful to have our work recognized in such a major way."
Texas Carpet Recycling, an offshoot of Thomas Holland's Corporate Floors, Inc., is the only local, full service landfill diversion alternative for commercial carpet. The company offers end-users, dealers, and mills a local alternative to landfilling old carpet. After sorting, baling, and grinding down used carpet, TCR ships it by truck to a recycled carpet manufacturer in Georgia.
