CLM Equipment Co. Inc.(www.clmequipment.com), Lafayette, La., has announced it now distributes Terex Fuchs material handling machines built for scrap, demolition and portside applications in Louisiana and Southeast Texas.

CLM Equipment has been in the Gulf Coast region, focusing on the unique needs of the scrap and demolition markets. By taking on the Terex Fuchs line, CLM Equipment hopes to be able to better serve customers working in portside applications and disaster clean-up as well, according to a press release.

CLM Equipment operates in three locations: Lafayette, La., Lake Charles; La.; and Baytown, Texas, with another facility set to open in the summer of 2011 in Louisiana. The Terex Fuchs line includes models with operating weights that range from 41,888 to 145,505 pounds and reach ranging from 30 to 68 feet.
