United Kingdom-based Terex Ecotec displayed its TTS 620T trommel screen at the 2020 ConExpo-Con/Agg event in March in Las Vegas.
Terex Ecotec describes the screen as highly versatile, with a two-meter (six-foot) diameter drum and advanced hydraulic control. The firm says the 620T also has “an easy change drum system and swing-out engine cradle,” making it “one of the most user friendly trommels on the market today. “
The 620T is one of several types of wood processing, biomass and recycling equipment in the Ecotec line. Terex Ecotec Business Line Director Tony Devlin says ConExpo was the right venue to convey information about the growing product line. “ConExpo is renowned for being North America’s largest trade show, and we are delighted to be exhibiting once again.”
The Ecotec product line was established in 2014 and now includes mobile shredding, screening, handling and conveying equipment. In addition to the 620T, recent product launches include the Phoenix 1600 trommel (tracked and wheeled models available); TBG 630 high-speed shredder; and the TDS 825 slow-speed shredder.
The company says the recent opening of a dedicated 105,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Derry, Northern Ireland, in the U.K. will support the ongoing growth and development of its expanding product portfolio.
Ecotec is part of Connecticut-based Terex Corp., a diversified maker of equipment for the construction, infrastructure, recycling, quarrying, mining, shipping, transportation, refining, energy, utility and manufacturing industries.
