Terex Corp., Westport, Conn., has announced that it will be uniting its Terex Pegson and Powerscreen products and services under the Powerscreen name.
The move by Terex Corp. means that products and services bearing the Terex Pegson name and image will now carry the Powerscreen brand. Crushers will also be coated in “Powerscreen green,” a color “long associated with quality, excellence and reliability,” according to a news release from the Dungannon, Northern Ireland-based Powerscreen division of Terex.
“This is the final step in a careful process that brings together these two powerful names in crushing and screening and allows us to successfully leverage the strength of one reinforced brand, to make Powerscreen the premier name in mobile crushing and screening products across the globe,” says Pat Brian, Powerscreen’s global sales director.
In some cases, the Pegson name will be used on product descriptions, says the company. For example, the XH250 Impactor Crusher will now be known as the Powerscreen Pegson XH250 Impactor Crusher.
Earlier this year, Terex Corp. established two new manufacturing plants in Northern Ireland. Screening equipment for Powerscreen is now being made at a facility in Dungannon while crushing equipment is manufactured at a custom-designed facility in Omagh.
“The speed of progress made in aligning our business demonstrates our appetite and hunger for success,” says Brian. “The dedicated and effective customer support service we have available in all our global markets delivers the complete customer experience from local sales, advice, installation, genuine parts, service and finance.”
