Telsmith Inc., Mequon, Wis., an Astec company, hosted more than 750 guests at its recent 100th anniversary event, which highlighted the company’s century of service to the aggregate and mining industry and its contributions to Wisconsin’s economic growth.
Wisconsin State Sen. Alberta Darling presented a plaque to Telsmith President Rick Patek, and Wisconsin Department of Commerce Secretary Mary Burke addressed the company’s contributions to economic growth, particularly in the area of international trade as one of the state’s top exporters to Latin America.
Held in conjunction with the Astec Aggregate and Mining Group International Conference, the celebration honored veteran employees, retirees and corporate leaders. Keynote speakers included Astec CEO J. Don Brock and past Telsmith President Bob Stafford.
Telsmith, founded in 1906, manufacturers processing equipment for the aggregate industry, including cone crushers, jaw crushers, primary and secondary impact crushers, portable and modular crushing plants, stationary systems, washing equipment, vibrating screens and feeders and portable and stationary conveyors.
