James Taylor Jr., president of Taylor Recycling Facility LLC, Montgomery, N.Y., will be honored this fall with a Distinguished Citizen Award presented by the Hudson Valley Boy Scout Council.
According to the Tonya Taylor, vice president-finance of Taylor Recycling Facility, the Distinguished Citizen Award “is presented to individuals who exemplify in their daily lives the ideals found within the Boy Scout Oath and Law.”
Tonya Taylor, who is the daughter of James Taylor Jr., adds, “I can’t think of anyone more deserving than my father to receive this award.”
The award will be presented at a dinner and ceremony to be held in Newburgh, N.Y., on Friday, Oct. 28.
