Tandus Introduces Recycled Content Carpet Backing

Tandus, a manufacturer of commercial floorcoverings, introduces two products: LifeLONG, a recycled content carpet backing; and Greenbond B-19 Adhesive with recycled content for commercial broadloom carpet. Monterey and Crossley, the two Tandus brands offering broadloom carpets, will use the products.

LifeLONG has between 22 and 37 percent recycled content, depending on style.

Greenbond B-19 is a companion product to LifeLONG. It has been third party-certified by Scientific Certification Systems to contain 20 percent post-consumer recycled content.
