Superior Industries Inc., Morris, Minnesota, has added Kristin Sweeney as director of sales for the company’s turnkey plant Construction Management division.
Sweeney has more than 18 years of experience in the aggregates, including a diversity of roles in engineering, operations and sales, including stints with US Aggregates, Oldcastle and CRH.
The company says Sweeney has “a proven ability to align technical expertise with producer priorities,” including having held leadership roles where she directed operations, managed multimillion-dollar projects and built strong relationships across the industry.
“Kristin has walked in the boots of our customers,” Superior Industries President Jason Adams says. “Her unique blend of operations, engineering and sales experience means producers gain a partner who understands their challenges and can deliver projects that perform reliably.”
With the addition of Sweeney, Superior says its Construction Management business unit has enhanced its ability to deliver turnkey solutions for dry bulk producers and material handlers. Construction Management staff can oversee every stage of complex projects, from initial design and engineering through fabrication, construction and startup, according to the equipment provider.
Superior Industries designs and makes crushing, screening, washing and conveying systems, parts and services for the aggregates sector production from its headquarters complex in Morris, four additional facilities in the U.S. and international manufacturing locations in Canada, Brazil and Asia.
