Lees Carpets, Glasgow, Va., has introduced its new adhesive, UnibondR Wet Set RE, formulated to install broadloom carpets backed with Lees’ Unibond backing.
Made from 20 percent post-consumer recycled material, Wet Set RE is one of the first adhesives in the industry to meet the Carpet and Rug Institute’s Green Label Plus standards, according to the company.
“Wet Set RE is yet another milestone in Lees’ long history of environmental stewardship,” says Jim McCallum, president of Lees. “We have intensified our initiative to offer a complete package of carpets and adhesives that qualify for LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) credits as outlined by the U.S. Green Building Council. Lees is committed to sustainability, top to bottom.”
