SSI Shredding Systems Inc., Wilsonville, Ore., has delivered a PR-4000T track-mounted reducer to a New Jersey landfill for shredding construction and demolition debris.
Rounding out at 100,000 pounds, this machine is built to endure harsh operating environments like C&D processing, according to a release from the company.
The cross-belt magnet is adjustable, a debris shield protects against operator spillage and the discharge conveyor system features a mining-duty belt with cleats.
Extra wide, 700 mm tracks were used for the landfill terrain.
The same features are incorporated into SSI’s 140,000-pound PR-6000T, one of which will be delivered to a Long Island, N.Y., transfer station in November.
