According to a Sidney product release, the new attachment allows operators to reach in and cut up live hardwood tree up to 14 inches in diameter in one cut. The Timberline Tree Shear utilizes 70,000 pounds of force and features a T1 steel blade to provide a safe and efficient clean cut, according to the company. Additionally, operators will have the ability to rotate after the cut allowing the attachment to also serve as a grapple to lift, wrangle and carry the material.
