Shur-Co. has released the Arm-Matic aluminum flip tarp system. The Arm-Matic is currently designed to fit dump bodies, belly dumps and end dump trailers up to 38-feet long, with designs available to fit nearly every box style on the market. With the one-piece extruded arm design and easy installation, the Arm-Matic provides user with a high quality tarping system.
The extruded aluminum arms and windshield are anodized for improved wear and corrosion protection. Based on the box or trailer length, as well as frame design, the Arm-Matic has several spring configurations available, including 4-spring and 5-spring side mount configurations and three different underbody spring configurations.
Other key features of the Arm-Matic include:
• 3-year warranty on the Superwinch 90:1 gear ratio worm-drive motor
• Gatorshield elbows and crossover tubes for superior corrosion protection over standard galvanized tubing
• High-strength steel pivot shafts with hexagonal shape for finer tension adjustment on underbody spring configurations
• Choice of reinforced solid vinyl tarps (for boxes up to 24 feet) or reinforced mesh tarps (all box sizes) available
• Exclusive availability of the 5-Channel SMARTransmitter that allows the operator to run multiple tarp systems from the comfort of the cab, which is especially helpful on lead/pup configurations.
• Replacement parts are interchangeable with many systems already available on the market.
