Sensera Systems Inc., a provider of construction jobsite intelligence solutions, has closed a $27 million Series B funding round aimed at fueling the company’s growth and innovation in artificial intelligence- (AI-) powered jobsite intelligence. Leading the round was 10 Atlantic Group LLC (TAG).
Sensera Systems, based in Golden, Colorado, provides self-contained, solar-powered and wirelessly connected camera hardware, software and services for the construction industry. Sensera’s SiteCloud software uses AI to deliver insights from onsite video capture directly to mobile devices in real-time so field teams can make informed decisions quickly, the company says.
“TAG’s focus and dedication to the construction industry makes them a perfect partner as we set our sights on the next phase of development in our AI strategy and growth as a company,” Robert Garber, CEO at Sensera Systems, says. “Their investment in our business ensures that we can provide our customers with the best technology and support in the industry.”
According to TAG, the firm has a deep emphasis on commercial security and construction technology. The firm says its strategy is to work side by side with management teams to accelerate growth and build businesses with long-term strategic value.
“We are excited to lead this Series B round in Sensera,” Toby Rando, managing partner at TAG, says. “The company’s mission of building construction technology to deliver better job outcomes aligns perfectly with our portfolio strategy. We believe in the product market fit as well as the Sensera team’s ability to execute against growth goals.”
Additional investments were made by Summit, New Jersey-based Egis Capital Partners and New York-based Muus Asset Management.
“The Series B round is a continuation of Egis’ partnership with Sensera since 2023 and a testament to Sensera’s leadership position in the construction technology ecosystem,” Annie Lan, lead partner at Egis, says. “The growth capital and expanded investor base solidifies Sensera’s ability to create more value with video-based actionable insights for the construction industry that drive effective collaboration among constituents in real estate and infrastructure development.”
