Constantino Lannes, president of Sennebogen LLC, Stanley, North Carolina, who announced the dealer addition, says Anderson will represent Sennebogen products through all of New York outside of the New York City area.

“With the way market activity has been shifting in recent years, we were very interested in diversifying our opportunities,” says Anderson General Manager John Park. “We always try to look at lines we can represent across our footprint, and Sennebogen is a great fit,” says Park, adding that he expects taking on the new line will help build on the company’s strengths throughout the Empire State.

Park says his company is well prepared for the new business. “We already had some internal insight into Sennebogen, [after] our acquisition of the Oliver Stores in 2013. They were already selling and supporting Sennebogen machines in Maine, Vermont and New Hampshire, and they give us a good foothold in the forestry industry,” Park says. Anderson Equipment purchased the Oliver Stores dealerships, formerly based in Hermon, Maine, in late 2012.

Park also says he looks forward to expanding Anderson’s activity in logging, recycling and waste and river port applications, with Sennebogen machines customized for barge loading, transfer stations or dredging operations. Sennebogen’s green machines also will be welcomed by many current Anderson customers in the scrap recycling, demolition and mining industries, he adds.

Sennebogen offers a line of purpose-built machines to suit many material handling applications, including recycling and scrap metal handling, demolition, barge and port operations, log-handling, transfer stations and waste facilities.
