Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology, Smyrna, Georgia, will showcase a number of solutions at ConExpo-Con/Agg in Las Vegas, March 7 to 11.
Some of the cornerstones of the extensive Sandvik offering of equipment and services will be on display, demonstrating its application areas including rock drilling, rock cutting, crushing and screening, loading and hauling, tunneling, quarrying and breaking and demolition.
These include:
- Introduction of the CS550 cone crusher—A cone crusher for second stage crushing.
- QJ341+ mobile jaw crusher—The QJ341+ is a new addition to the QJ341 jaw crusher range. This model comes with the added benefit of a double deck prescreen as standard. The prescreen is designed to enable the removal of fines. This will be particularly effective in quarrying applications with a high proportion of fines in the feed material.
- UI310+ wheeled impact crusher—UI310+ is an electrically driven wheeled crushing unit. With the CI512 Prisec crusher, it offers the flexibility to configure one base crusher into either a primary or a secondary configuration. Purpose designed for the aggregates industry and targeted at the U.S. market in particular, it features a prescreen.
- QE441 Free Flow mobile scalper—QE441 Free Flow is a new variant of our heavy duty QE441 scalper with a two deck 18-foot-by-6-foot Free Flow screen. This features a rigid scalping top deck and a dual motion lower screen deck for processing high specification or difficult to screen materials. This is a solution for screening material such as soils, aggregates, ores, waste, biomass and other waste derived fuels and products with high moisture contents.
- Pantera DP1100i surface drill rigs—The Pantera DPi series drill rigs feature a redesigned control system, with updated user interface and touch screen. The Pantera DPi drill rig family consists of two models: Pantera DP1100i for hole sizes of 3 ½ to 5 ½ inches, and Pantera DP1500i for hole sizes of 4 to 6 inches.
- Sandvik DT912D and Sandvik DT912D underground drill rigs–a self-contained, air-mist flushing, diesel-hydraulic high reach jumbo designed for drifting and production drilling of 130 to 1,345 square feet cross sections, the 24-ton single-boom jumbo is self-contained.
