Orange, California-based SA Recycling has acquired Atlanta-based Pirkle Inc., according to an announcement posted in late September to the LinkedIn page of SA Recycling.
“SA Recycling is proud to welcome the team from Pirkle Inc. as our newest employees in Atlanta,” SA Recycling posted on Sept. 28.
In the announcement, SA also thanked its associates Luis Ramirez and Maria F. Castillo for performing safety training in Atlanta, and added, “Our family has grown to offer services to the public at our new location at: 598 Wells St SW, Atlanta. So happy to have you on board!!
A 2017 Recycling Today article portrays the shredder installation at Pirkle and the company’s choice of Texas-based 3Tek Global as its shredding plant supplier.
On the Pirkle website currently, the company says it does not accept automobiles at its yard, but concentrates on industrial accounts; construction contractors, subcontractors and tradespeople; and homeowners with scrap to sell.
