Austria-based Rubble Master is reporting that attendees of the 2014 Steinexpo International Demonstration Show for Construction Machinery showed great interest in its compact crushers. The Steinexpo event was Sept. 3-6 in Homberg, Germany.
“All eyes were on the RM V550GO! in particular,” the company states in a post-event news release. Rubble Master describes the RM V5500GO! as “the fully mobile gravel and sand plant with a capacity of up to 125 metric tons per hour [that] put in an impressive performance in the basalt quarry at Steinexpo.”
Rubble Master displayed three RM-model compact crushers at the event and says over the course of the four days it hosted “countless satisfied and interested customers.” Rubble Master employees were joined in the display area by employees from C. Christophel GmbH and Jürgen Kölsch GmbH, the two dealers that represent the Rubble Master line in Germany.
“When two dealers represent one and the same company there is often ground for conflict,” says Rüdiger Christophel, managing director at C. Christophel GmbH, which represents six different manufacturers. “We share not only the territory, but also the representation,” he says of the alliance with Jürgen Kölsch GmbH.
The fact that the collaboration works so well could be witnessed by the collaboration of the joint display area shared at Steinexpo, says Gerald Hanisch, CEO of Rubble Master.
Hanisch says the 24 salespeople from the three different organizations support each other with a shared goal of offering customers the best possible advice. “We offer our customers solutions to their problems,” says Hanisch. “You have to be a good listener to do that. And this is exactly what works so well with our sales partners."
Sean McCusker, sales manager at Jürgen Kölsch GmbH, describes the RM V550GO! as “three crushers in one.” He adds, though, that “operating it is not rocket science, thanks to Rubble Master’s proven GO! concept.”
In the RM V550GO! mobile sand and gravel plant, the feed hopper has a capacity of 5.5 square meters (59.2 square feet) and can handle pieces up to 300 millimeters (11.8 inches) wide or long. A Vortex crusher works on the inside, uniting the technology of a jaw crusher, an impact crusher and a mill in one machine, according to Rubble Master. This crusher unit turns the input material into “high-quality, valuable aggregate.”
The standard version of the RM V550GO! weighs in at 33 metric tons (36.3 tons) and is powered by a 280 kilowatt John Deere diesel engine.
Rubble Master was founded by Gerald Hanisch in Linz, Austria, in 1991. Its compact crushers are used around the world in both recycling and stone processing, with exports accounting for more than 90 percent of the company’s sales.
