Rubble Master Systems Inc., the Austria-based manufacturer of compact crushing and screening machines for recycling concrete and asphalt and processing natural stone, has announced the opening of a new 26,000-square-foot spare parts warehouse and a 28,000-square-foot repair shop serving the growing fleet of more than 100 Rubble Master Compact Recyclers in North America. Heavy Machines Inc. (HMI), Memphis, Tenn., a Rubble Master distributor for five Southern states, is running the facilities.
Having parts readily available is vital to the smooth operation of Rubble Master Compact Recyclers and establishment of these facilities illustrates the company’s commitment to supporting its clients and machines, according to a press release from Rubble Master.
Memphis is a prime logistics hub, with FedEx having its main operation there, and with UPS having one of its largest U.S. offices in the area, according to Rubble Master. Also, state-of-the-art distribution software allows HMI to incorporate and reorder parts efficiently, ensuring the warehouse is well stocked, Rubble Master claims.
The Memphis location also can do repair jobs and rebuild impact rotors. A computerized balancing machine prepares rotors for placement immediately into the machine, balanced and ready to go.
Richard Wilson, president of HMI, says, “We are very pleased with the commitment Rubble Master has made to support the machines in North America.”
