Rubber Pavements Association to Host Workshop

The Rubber Pavements Association has announced a one-day workshop in New Jersey on Nov. 13.

The seminar will address methods of using end-of-life tires as engineering material in asphalt pavements. A panel of speakers will present information on several related topics, including:

• Introduction of Asphalt Rubber
• NJDEP Overview on Tire Recycling
• Tire Recycling in the Northeast
• Update on Asphalt Rubber Research
• Asphalt-Rubber Binder and Mix Design
• Construction of Asphalt Rubber Pavements
• Safety and Noise Reduction Benefits of Asphalt-Rubber
• Recycling of AR Pavements

The workshop will be held at Rutgers University in Piscataway, N.J.
