Rotochopper, a St. Martin, Minnesota-based manufacturer of horizontal grinders, shredders and screening equipment, has wrapped up its annual Rotochopper University training program.
Hosted in February at the company’s manufacturing facility in St. Martin, the event brought together more than 50 Rotochopper owners and operators from companies around the world for hands-on training and education.
Rotochopper University is an exclusive training opportunity designed for companies that have purchased Rotochopper equipment within the past year and led by Rotochopper’s customer service team. This two-day program covers equipment operation, best practices, preventative maintenance and troubleshooting strategies to help customers maximize their investment.
“Rotochopper University remains an invaluable opportunity for our customers to gain hands-on knowledge and build lasting connections,” says Adam Asmus, Rotochopper service manager and event instructor. “The relationships formed with our service team and fellow operators will continue to enhance their operations long after the event.”
Participants engaged in a variety of activities, including a facility tour, hands-on demonstrations and networking opportunities. The curriculum emphasized topics such as proper machine feeding, preventative maintenance procedures and troubleshooting techniques. Hands-on sessions provided instruction on installing main rotor bearings, adjusting sheaves and properly tensioning drive belts on Rotochopper grinders.
Attendees shared positive feedback about their experience.
“It was really nice to meet the customer service team, and I feel very confident that Rotochopper is committed to helping us and making sure we succeed,” one participant says.
Another attendee adds, “Rotochopper University is very beneficial for new customers and learning about the new features on the machines.”
Rotochopper says it remains committed to its customers’ success by providing comprehensive training and support initiatives like Rotochopper University, which ensure attendees gain the knowledge and skills necessary for optimal equipment performance and long-term operational success.
