Rockland Manufacturing Co., Bedford, Pa., has introduced RR Rock Ripping Excavator Buckets, which the company says are ideal for tough digging. Rockland says the design allows the buckets to rip and dig in a single pass. It starts with a severe service, modified spade nose edge equipped with three severe service teeth.
RR Rock Ripping Buckets penetrate and shatter most rock, shale and frozen ground, according to the company. The rugged body of the bucket has five staggered ripping teeth that individually deliver full curl and down force every load cycle. This dual ripping digging action guarantees maximum productivity.
RR Rock Ripping Buckets are available for all excavators, and are available for pin-on or coupler mounting. All RR Rock Ripping Buckets have built-in AR400 side-cutters, replaceable teeth and wear plates at all critical areas.
