Rockland Manufacturing Introduces Attachments

Company adds excavator grapples and demolition loader buckets to product offering.

Rockland Manufacturing Co., Bedford, Pa., has introduced new attachments to its product offering.

Rockland Heavy-Duty H23 Excavator Grapples are ideal for working in severe conditions presented in demolition, rock handling and land clearing applications.

The H23 is comprised of a narrow two-tine clamp and wider three-tine frame built from high-strength alloy steel plate with reinforcement at all critical stress points. All Rockland grapples are equipped with replaceable wear plates at the front and rear of each tine, as well as heat-treated pivot pins and bushings for additional strength.

Pin and bushing kits are available for grapple interchangeability between machines, allowing contractors to use their equipment fleets efficiently on different job sites.

The company has also introduced demolition loader buckets, which are designed to dig, load, doze, grab, carry, rip and tear. Manufactured from high-strength, heat-treated alloy steel, these heavy-duty buckets will push over walls, grip and carry materials and load debris, according to the manufacturer. With the clamp closed, they can even be used in place of a dozer.

A slotted, extended spillplate on the DB Demolition Buckets improves operator visibility and protects the loader. The reinforced moldboard and built-in protection for the hydraulic cylinders eliminate common bucket problems for demolition contractors, according to Rockland. The buckets are customizable with any tooth system desired. They come complete from the factory with jumper hoses that connect to standard boom arm piping and mount using standard factory pins.
