Road Machinery Becomes Sennebogen Distributor

Phoenix-based distributor will serve California, Arizona, New Mexico and west Texas.

Sennebogen LLC, with U.S. headquarters in Charlotte, N.C., has announced that it has added Phoenix-based Road Machinery LLC to its distributor network. Mutual interests and needs led to the partnership of Sennebogen and Road Machinery LLC, says Gary Beal, vice president for sales of Road Machinery.

“Sennebogen was offering purpose-built machines that we thought would be of great value for our customers, and they were looking for a major distributor to represent them in the Southwestern United States,” says Beal. “Our company president, Dennis Romanson, had previous experience with the Sennebogen line and he thought it would be a good fit for us. His hunch was correct. We love working with the people at Sennebogen. They’re innovative, creative and open-minded and provide strong support to both the distributor and customer. And on top of that, the product performs as promised.”

With 14 locations spread throughout California, Arizona, New Mexico and West Texas, Road Machinery provides a large footprint as the official Sennebogen distributor from El Paso, Texas, up to Northern California, the company says. “Road Machinery is a major player for Sennebogen with its multiple locations in the Southwest,” says Michael Worth, the Sennebogen regional sales manager who facilitated the partnership.

Established in the Phoenix area in 1955 with seven employees, Road Machinery has experienced continual growth and expansion during the past 50 years. Today, more than 300 employees serve the mining, construction, industrial and governmental markets. They support their customers with repair and rebuild facilities, field service capabilities, factory-trained mechanics and complete parts inventories in the company’s multiple locations.

According to Beal, taking on the Sennebogen line of material handlers complements Road Machinery’s other product lines and has provided the company with more opportunities than officials first imagined.

“The Sennebogen machines have opened up potential new markets for us in scrap, logging, demolition, recycling, landfill and port applications. Diversity of applications will be our key to success.  Our objective at first was to learn how to walk with the line before we started to run with it. Sennebogen has been great in coming to our locations and teaching us about the machines and how their purpose-built design meets our customers’ various application needs. Right now, we are looking into learning more about port applications in order to serve the unique needs of our customers in that sector,” says Beal.

“We are pleased to have Road Machinery LLC on the Sennebogen team,” says Constantino Lannes, president of Sennebogen LLC. “Their highly visible presence in the Southwestern U.S. and their emphasis on developing partnerships with their customers and providing them with strong aftermarket product support makes them the perfect partner.”
