
Richard Vann has been involved in the demolition and decommissioning industry for 35 years. He is managing director of RVA Group, a specialist project management and engineering consultancy that has provided decommissioning, decontamination, dismantling and demolition support on more than 700 complex projects worldwide in Borehamwood, England.
Project testimonials on its website include GlaxoSmithKline, Huntsman Petrochemicals, Barratt Homes and Tiejin Polycarbonate Singapore, while further clients listed include Eggborough Power, Rolls-Royce, Saint-Gobain, Bayer and Sellafield Ltd.
Vann is also past president of both the Institute of Demolition Engineers and the Institute of Explosives Engineers.
His own experience of the conference industry includes chairing a Power Station Decommissioning forum in Germany in June 2016.
