Contractor to provide demolition and site restoration of various tracts within Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore, Porter, Indiana. Removal shall include but is not limited to: all buildings, foundations, walls, basements, floors, steps, all slabs (including asphalt or concrete slabs used as pull-overs on or near any highway that falls within park boundaries), curbs, sidewalks, driveways (concrete and asphalt), fences, septic systems, trash and debris, concrete, steel or wood pilings, wire steel reinforcing rods and any other materials that are not of a natural setting. Magnitude of project: $250,000.00 to $500,000.00. Description: A. Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, and furnish labor and materials and perform work for the removal of all hazardous materials including asbestos containing materials, lead containing materials, PCB containing materials, mercury containing materials, and certain other items, followed by mechanical and electrical work and demolition of buildings and corridors, disposal of all debris, rough grading, seeding, patching walls and roofs at existing buildings and corridors and certain other items as required by drawings and specifications at the Vancouver Division of the Portland VAMC. The actual jobsite is in Vancouver, Washington. This solicitation replaces Solicitation 648-38-03 which has been cancelled. NAICS code 238910 applies and this solicitation is issued pursuant to the small business competitiveness demonstration program. Solicitation package will be available o/a 20 March 2003.
