ReSource Waste Services LLC has acquired C.L. Noonan Container Service Inc. of West Bridgewater, Massachusetts, for undisclosed terms. In combination with ReSource’s investment in Northeast Recycling LLC, headquartered in Avon, Massachusetts, in early 2024, the company continues to grow its construction and demolition debris (C&D) hauling operations throughout eastern New England.
C.L. Noonan, founded in 1997, is a roll-off container and hauling provider serving commercial, industrial and construction customers. Purchasing the company significantly strengthens Northeast’s service footprint, fleet capacity and ability to support customers with dependable waste and recycling solutions, ReSource says. By combining C.L. Noonan’s established customer relationships and operational expertise with Northeast’s infrastructure and scale, customers will benefit from expanded resources while maintaining the high-touch service they value.
“C.L. Noonan has built a strong reputation for reliability and customer service,” says Greg Leahey, co-CEO and co-founder of ReSource. “We are committed to preserving that legacy while providing customers with the expanded resources and operational depth of Northeast and ReSource. This acquisition reinforces our long-term commitment to the construction, commercial and industrial markets we serve.”
With this transaction, ReSource continues to execute on its growth strategy of partnering with strong operators to deliver scalable, customer-focused waste and recycling solutions across Eastern New England.
ReSource Waste Services LLC owns and operates four C&D processing facilities in New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Maine, including an RCI-certified facility in Lewiston, and a rail-served C&D transfer station in Massachusetts, with a total annual permitted capacity of approximately 1.4 million tons.
ReSource Waste Services employs more than 170 people and is owned by GCM Grosvenor, a leading global alternative asset management solutions provider headquartered in Chicago, and Albany, New York-based ReEnergy Holdings LLC, which formed the company in 2009.
