Registration for the National Demolition Association’s 11th Annual Safety Summit is now open.
The summit will be Oct. 27-28, 2005, at the Holiday Inn BWI at Baltimore-Washington International Airport in Baltimore.
Sessions include a case study of what rights and responsibilities contractors have once an accident occurs and an OSHA violation looms.
OSHA lawyer Mark Lies, along with Gary Glader, an industry safety consultant and B.J. Moore, a former OSHA compliance officer, will present a session on dealing with stressful accident situations.
In addition, there will be presentations on claims management, making safety training interesting and Department of Transportation compliance and contract language.
