Red Rhino Crushers, a Lincolnshire, U.K.-based manufacturer and distributor of crushing, screening and stacking equipment, has launched modifications to its RR 5000+ jaw crusher.
The updated RR 5000+ includes modifications to the jaw box dynamics, adjusting the hydraulic systems to a more vertical position and enabling the machine to utilize gravity to assist the crushing process.
These engineering improvements aim to boost crushing capacity and operational speed for demolition, construction and skip hire operators, according to Red Rhino.
The RR 5000+ model includes a 500 millimeter by 250 millimeter jaw crusher with a hydraulically driven vibrating feeder, both controlled with a wireless remote handset. Output sizes range from 20-100 millimeters, enabling the processing of reinforced concrete, brick and other aggregate materials. The crusher measures 1,665 millimeters wide, allowing the machine to navigate restricted access sites. Standard specifications include integrated dust suppression and a Kubota Corp. 25HP 4-cylinder water-cooled diesel engine meeting Stage 5 emission standards.
“Continuous improvement is at the heart of what we do,” Job Winfield of Red Rhino says. “By optimizing the jaw plate positioning and upgrading the hydraulic system, we’ve created a machine that crushes faster and handles material more efficiently than ever before. … The response to the upgraded RR 5000+ has been extremely positive. We’re confident these improvements will deliver real value for our customers across the construction and demolition sectors.”
Red Rhino exports its equipment to more than 60 countries globally, with distributors in Australia, Canada, the U.S. and more. To learn more about the RR 5000+ jaw crusher, visit its website.
