R. Baker & Son All Industrial Service (R. Baker & Son), Red Bank, N.J.-based dismantlement and demolition company, recently completed the demolition of three liquid nitrogen gas vaporizers at a facility in
Prior to demolition, R. Baker & Son made necessary disconnects, rerouted piping and isolated mechanical systems from the vaporizers. Additionally, due to the proximity to active operations, various safety measures were implemented.
Finally, R. Baker & Son prepared the main concrete foundation for grading. All surface protrusions such as bolts and grout were removed to create a smooth surface. Final grade was accomplished by covering the area with 4 inches of ¾ clean stone.
The successful dismantlement and demolition took less than a month and was completed without incident or injury.
