Precision Husky Corp., an equipment manufacturer based in Moody, Ala., recently shipped its largest whole tree chipper powered by a 1050-horsepower diesel engine, along with two horizontal grinders powered by 860- and 500-horsepower diesel engines, to customers in Scandinavia.
He adds, “The international market seems to be coming out of recession faster than the domestic market.”
Precision has been manufacturing chippers for the forest products industry for almost half a century, and ships them to more than 40 countries.
