Powerscreen to Exhibit at ConExpo-Con/Agg

Powerscreen XH500, XH320SR, XA400S and Warrior 2400 will be on display.

Powerscreen, a worldwide provider of mobile crushing, screening and washing equipment, will exhibit several pieces of equipment at ConExpo-Con/Agg 2011. Powerscreen will be exhibiting on the Terex stand at booth #140 in the Gold Lot outdoors at the Las Vegas Convention Center and will exhibit the Powerscreen XH500, Powerscreen XH320SR, Powerscreen XA400S and the Powerscreen Warrior 2400.

The XH500 Horizontal Shaft Impactor crusher represents the latest generation of track mobile crushers, designed for processing large volumes of soft to medium-hard primary and secondary materials such as natural rock and construction derived materials, including asphalt, recycling and demolition waste. The Powerscreen XH500 has been designed for maximum throughput of up to 550 tons per hour, according to the company. The XH500 is suited for contract crushing due to its high productivity and ease of set-up, operation and maintenance. Key features include a vibrating pan feeder, double deck live pre-screen, feeder load management system, under pan feeder, efficient crusher direct-drive system, crusher hydraulic overload protection, hydraulic raise and lower product conveyor for rebar removal, new PLC control system and class leading stockpiling capacities.

The XH320SR is designed to excel in the toughest conditions in recycling, demolition and quarrying applications. Key features include the fully independent under crusher vibrating pan feeder, new impact chamber with 4-bar rotor, twin-apron design, double deck screen with recirculating facility, adjustment assist and hydraulic overload protection. The benefits of the XH320SR include a rapid set-up time, fuel efficiency with its direct drive system and feeder load management system to control material entry to the chamber. The result is a throughput of up to 352 tons per hour, reduced wear costs, as well as excellent reduction and high consistency of product shape, according to Powerscreen.

The XA400S is a high performance primary jaw crushing plant, designed for operators in quarrying, demolition and recycling applications and is capable of producing up to 441 tons per hour, depending on the application, Powerscreen says.

The XA400S is available with hydraulic adjust or hydraulic release options, which, according to Powerscreen, provide the ability to quickly and easily adjust the machines Closed Side Settings (CSS). Other user benefits the company points to are track mobility, a quick set-up time and crusher overload protection to prevent damage by uncrushable objects.

The Warrior 2400 is designed for large scale operators in the quarrying and mining sectors, is capable of handling larger feed sizes, and has an output potential of up to 881 tons per hour. It features a heavy duty incline screen with a high amplitude triple shaft drive mechanism, lending it to screening, scalping, 2 or 3 way splitting and stockpiling materials like aggregates, topsoil, coal, construction, demolition waste and iron ore, the company says. The Warrior 2400 is the ultimate solution for large-scale end users who require a high performing versatile screener that remains easy to transport, set-up, operate and maintain, says Powerscreen.

Powerscreen has partnered with Scania as its engine supplier to comply with Tier IIIb / 4i emissions legislation. The XA400S on display at CONEXPO-CON/AGG will be fitted with a Scania engine.

The Terex stand #140 will be supported by members of the Powerscreen sales and customer support teams and representatives from the Powerscreen global dealer network, who will be present on the stand to provide information on the entire Powerscreen product portfolio.
