A developer has announced plans to build a construction and demolition debris recycling facility and C&D landfill on a 700-acre parcel of land in northeast Hoosick, N.Y., according to a report in the Times Union (Albany, N.Y.).
The company, Wastetricity, introduced its plan to members of the Town Board July 10.
The plan also includes a proposal for a factory that would produce plywood-substitute sheets from chipped wood, according to the report.
