Peterson Corp., Eugene, Ore., has announced that it will introduce a new horizontal recycler at ConExpo-Con/Agg 2005.
The model 6700 is powered by a 1,000-hp Caterpillar 3412E diesel engine and uses the Peterson Impact Release System, designed to minimize damage from contaminants in the feed material.
Like all Peterson recyclers, the 6700 uses a three-stage grinding process with an up turning rotor and large grate area.
