Peterson Reached Distribution Agreement with Cat Dealer

Peterson Pacific Corp., a Eugene, Ore.-based manufacturer of grinders, chippers and blower trucks, has announced that Alban Tractor Co. is now the Peterson distributor in the mid-Atlantic region. This territory includes Maryland, southern Delaware, northeast Virginia and northeast West Virginia.

“Peterson products are a natural business extension for Alban since Caterpillar engines are used in Peterson machines,” says Larry Cumming, Peterson president. “Our chippers and grinders are complementary products to Caterpillar’s new forestry focus. Peterson grinders and blower trucks are often paired with Caterpillar’s machines in the land clearing, erosion control and organic recycling markets. Our customers will benefit from more service locations and qualified technicians.”

Peterson is a subsidiary of Astec Industries Inc. Since 1982 Peterson has manufactured equipment for customers in more than 25 countries.
