Oxford Introduces New XRF Analyzer

X-MET5000 designed to work in multi-element environments.

Oxford Instruments, a producer of analytic instruments based in the United Kingdom, introduced the X-MET5000 analyzer at a special distributors meeting in Dubai. The new hand-held analyzer is engineered to work in multi-element analysis.

The X-MET5000 is equipped with Light Element Treatment (LET) mode to enable fast and accurate analysis of heavy elements, even when the same contains lighter elements like aluminum and silicon. Additional features of the new analyzer include Oxfords PentaPIN detector technology and dust and splash protection.

Oxford’s new analyzer can be used for scrap metal recycling, analysis of metals for PMI, screening for lead in toys and consumer product compliance testing.
