The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality is calling for written comments on Marion having a renewal of Resource Recovery Facility, LLC’s existing solid waste material recovery permit for 10 years. The facility is located in Salem, Ore.
The facility receives dry loads of construction & demolition material, as well as industrial solid waste. The facility also receives source-separated recyclables from the public.
According to the Oregon DEQ the facility is in compliance with its existing permit and has no recorded complaints or permit problems.
Parties interested in reviewing the documents can see the draft permits and application at the DEQ Salem Office at 750 Front St., NE, Suite 120, Salem, OR 97301. The draft also can be viewed electronically at www.deq.state.or.us/news/publicnotices.
