The Empire State Development Corp., a New York state agency that works with the state to spur economic growth, has agreed to enter into a contract with Ontario Specialty Contracting Inc., based in Buffalo, to conduct demolition and site preparation services and related actions in Rochester, N.Y.
The company is slated to demolish six buildings and conduct other demolition services in the Midtown Plaza area of Rochester.
According to published report, the $9.6 million winning bid was the lowest among 11 companies that were looking to land the account.
The company hopes to start the demolition work by this July.
