The Washington County Fairgrounds in Richmond, R.I., will serve as the site of a three-day event designed to feature historic excavating, earthmoving and quarrying equipment.
The 25th Annual Historical Construction Equipment Association’s Old Equipment Exposition will take place Sept. 10-12, 2010, at the fairgrounds site.
The event’s organizer, the Northeast RockBusters Chapter of the Historical Construction Equipment Association, is urging attendees to “bring your old equipment and have some fun,” as the older model equipment will be put to work digging, loading, dozing and grading a hill to be excavated.
Those seeking more information on the event can go the Chapter’s Web site at www.nerockbusters.weebly.com or contact Dave Burnham at drburnhaminer@aol.com.
