State officials from both houses of the Oklahoma Legislature honored a state high school for winning the Construction Challenge that was organized by the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM), according to a report in the Oklahoma Insider (
The Perry High School Construction Challenge team won first place among 50 teams from across the nation. The team was sponsored by Perry company The Charles Machine Works Inc.
The AEM partnered with the Destination ImagiNation Inc. to develop the Construction Challenge to educate students about careers in the construction industry. More information is available at www.constructionchallenge.org.
