King Wrecking, a demolition company that has been in business in the Cincinnati area for more than 50 years, recently announced that it is extending its business to include asbestos removal. Previously, the company had subcontracted out the asbestos removal to other specialist companies.
The new division will be headed by Joe Feist, who previously worked for P1 Asbestos Co. According to Feist, roughly 50 percent of the demolition projects the company handles include some type of asbestos removal project. The move to bring the work in house, the company feels, will allow the company to increase its overall sales.
The company has annual sales of about $6 million.
Feist notes that the company already has all the equipment, as well as trained employees to handle a host of asbestos projects right now. The company already is licensed by the state to handle asbestos removal.
