Commissioners of Lucas County, Ohio, have plans to announce an initiative to incorporate green building principles into future county construction and renovation projects, according to a report in the Toledo Blade (Toledo, Ohio).
County officials hope the initiative will result in buildings that are better for the environment and help cut down on the county’s energy bill, according to the report.
