The Arlington, Virginia-based National Waste and Recycling Association (NWRA) released an issue brief on the continued changing markets for recycling Feb. 13.
Since 2017, NWRA has regularly updated its issue brief to reflect China’s changing
policies toward imported recyclables and the impact of those policies on the
waste and recycling industry.
“As the recycling market
continues to change, it is important we continue to offer guidance to our
members and interested parties. This issue brief provides an update with the
latest information about recycling policies impacting the industry and
recommended actions recyclers can take in light of these changes,” NWRA
President and CEO Darrell Smith says.
NWRA frequently publishes
issue briefs on topics that affect the waste and recycling industry. These
issue briefs are available on the NWRA website.
