Epsom, New Hampshire-based Northeast Resource Recovery Association (NRRA) has announced it is seeking input for a database the association intends to create of available, experienced job positions for solid waste, transfer station and material recovery facility (MRF) workers.
The NRRA says the database would serve as a potential service to its members, as well as a resource for workers looking for employment, both full-time and part-time, in these solid waste-focused positions.

The Solid Waste Staffing/Job Pool database would benefit these groups, according to the NRRA:
- members’ towns with their staffing challenges; the “staffing pool” would provide a resource to find short-term and long-term experienced personnel to meet their needs;
- job seekers;
- current part-time workers may find an additional part-time position at another facility; and
- retirees.
“Initially, this database would include a list of available staff, their experience and what days and hours available to work,” the NRRA says on its website, http://www.nrra.net.
