New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin has signed an order that will close a controversial construction and demolition landfill that was opened in April, according to a report from KLFY-TV, Lafayette, La.
The order that opened Waste Management’s Chef Menteur Construction and Demolition Landfill will expire Aug. 14, according to the report.
