The National Demolition Association (NDA), Doylestown, Pa., is bringing demolition industry health and safety training to New England construction professionals Oct. 26-27 with its Regional Demolition Training Session. The session will be held at the Sheraton Needham Hotel in Needham, Mass.
Open to anyone involved in the demolition process, including general contractors, civil engineers and recycling specialists, the session will provide participants with certifications for both the OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) Demolition-specific 10-hour construction health and safety training and the lift safety training course.
Other program offerings include Industrial Hygiene 101 for the demolition industry and PCBs (Polychlorinated Biphenyls) in caulk.
This is the first time the NDA has brought its Regional Demolition Training Session to the Boston area. It has provided safety training programs to C&D professionals since instituting the first Demolition Safety Summit in 1994. NDA executives say the association is recognized as a worldwide authority on demolition industry safe work practices.
