Bill Baumann passed away at the age of 89 on Dec. 4, the National Demolition Association (NDA) announced. Baumann was the owner of Cleveland-based B&B Wrecking and Excavating and was one of the founding members of the NDA. He was a charter member, director at large, and former secretary of the organization, as well.
Bill's son, Brian, currently serves on the NDA board of directors.
"We lost a great leader, innovator and true friend of the industry. Our hearts and prayers go out to the Baumann family in this difficult time," NDA President Chris Godek said in a statement.
