NDA extends deadline for 2017 awards

The National Demolition Association (NDA) has extended the deadline to submit applications for its 2017 awards program to Tuesday, Nov. 8. According to the association, the awards and scholarship program allow it to celebrate accomplishments in demolition and support future professionals in the industry.

The NDA says its awards honor members who have dedicated their careers to the betterment of their community, companies who have demonstrated significant environmental conservation, and promising young professionals who are actively seeking continuing education opportunities. Awards and their descriptions are as follows:

Lifetime Achievement Award - The Lifetime Achievement Award is presented to a member selected for their exceptional service to NDA and the industry. Any NDA member can be nominated for this award.

NDA's Excellence in Demolition Awards - Excellence in Demolition Awards are the industry’s prestigious recognition program which distinguishes NDA members for their leadership and innovation in “green” development and for efforts to better their local and regional environment.

NDA's Scholarship Awards - NDA is proud to present nine scholarships to up-and-coming demolition professionals. These scholarship opportunities are awarded to an owner, employee, or an immediate family member of a Regular Member company of NDA and provide support in the advancement of their career through continuing education opportunities.
