The Washington-based National Demolition Association (NDA) has started a podcast series called “Demo Dispatch” designed to feature and appeal to demolition professionals.
“We’re excited to announce the launch of NDA’s newly revamped podcast: Demo Dispatch—a fresh take on what demolition professionals need to know, straight from the people who know it best,” the association says.
Each episode will feature association and industry updates, safety stories from the field and member-to-member conversations about the challenges and successes shaping the industry.
Episode 1, now available on Spotify, features NDA President Ben Hayden of Washington Park, Illinois-based Hayden Wrecking Corp., Nick McGarel of Elmhurst, Illinois-based Brandenburg and David Griffin Jr. of Greensboro, North Carolina-based D.H. Griffin Cos.
The episode features association updates from Hayden, a safety-related case study from McGarel and the status of multigenerational leadership and attracting young talent in the current demolition industry environment.
