Attendees at the National Demolition Association (NDA) Annual Convention will have the chance to attend educational sessions designed to improve their company’s bottom line. “This year’s topics are incredibly relevant to businesses looking for ways to not only survive but thrive in the current economy,” says Michael R. Taylor, the NDA’s executive director.
Session topics at the event, which takes place March 20-23 at The Mirage in Las Vegas, include “Coping with the Downturn and Planning for Recovery,” “Safety and Your Bottom Line,” and “Green Marketing and LEED: Is there Money in it for You?”
Says Taylor, “We have another talk about how to develop superior decision-making skills in disaster situations, which can help any business handle potential liability issues during a crisis.” He adds, “Each session was planned to bring value to the attendees’ convention experience by giving them solid tools to use when navigating the business environment.”
The convention opens with a keynote address by Lt. General (Ret.) Daniel Christman, a career military officer currently involved in multi-national business. He will speak on “Leadership in Times of Crisis.”
As in previous NDA conventions, the agenda also includes opportunities to network and socialize, including an opening night cocktail reception, the 1960s-style Beatles “Love” theme party, and the annual banquet at the conclusion of the event.
